This morning, I told 3B students to build blogs of their own in English only but they all said that's totally impossible. I told them to write a very short piece of writing every day on their own blogs but they seem not to believe they can really do it without too much difficuly. Hey, buddies. What do you think about it? Do you think you can or cannot make it?

I am a retired teacher, have been teaching English in Bulgaria, and one of my teaching strategies is to give the students what to step on to be able to see and assess the world they are in and the one that lies further and around them. I would set the parameters of the first blog post first, and if you teach writing, you may set the topic, or even the words to be used, then you may introduce an issue they will express their point of view to, or try to solve, then you may ask them to specify their own parameters of interests that can get evolved through writing, and then you may let them fare on their own, though the last stage would be very close to leading a group and stepping aside at one point to see if they have any idea of where they originally headed for (probably my approach to teaching bases on my reluctance to lead anyone to the real source or maybe because I am an aries, though I hardly believe in signs but those that society makes us see and feel)
